Seeking Participants for Christmas Oratorio Choir Performance
The Kantoreien Büderich and Osterath are inviting interested choristers to join them for a special performance of Bach's "Jauchzet frohlocket" at Christuskirche in Büderich.
Regular rehearsals are held on Tuesdays at 7:30 PM in Büderich (Bethlehemkirche) and Thursdays at 8 PM in Osterath (Evangelische Kirche). If you'd like to sing along, now is the perfect time to join.
Suitable rehearsal formats will be offered for each interested chorister, depending on their prior knowledge. The performance is an open project of the Kantoreien Büderich and Osterath, led by church musicians Mathias Bertuleit and Rüdiger Gerstein.

In addition to regular rehearsals, there will be group rehearsals on September 19/20, November 7/8, and November 28/29. Weekend rehearsals will take place on Fridays from 7 to 9 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM to 5 PM, with the final dress rehearsal on Friday, December 12th, in the evening.
The performance is scheduled for 6 PM on Saturday, December 13th. Additional project singers will participate in the performance. On this day, Bach's "Jauchzet frohlocket" will be performed at the Christuskirche in Büderich.
