Seeking Absolute and Unyielding Victory Against Iran – Trump's Aim

The US President Donald Trump has made it clear that the US won't pursue a ceasefire in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran. Speaking at the White House, he stated, "We're gunning for a total, complete victory. You know what victory is? No nuclear weapon." Although he insisted he wasn't seeking a fight, Trump added, "If it's between fighting and an Iranian nuclear weapon, we must do what we must do."

Intriguingly, Trump also announced a meeting in the closely guarded "Situation Room," a high-security meeting room at the US government center in Washington. This gathering follows a meeting with his National Security team the previous day, raising questions about the US's involvement in the region.

The US's upcoming actions take on significant importance in the escalating Israel-Iran conflict, considering the US military's consistent support for Israel. Despite this, the US government has vaunted that it's not directly participating in the fighting between Israel and Iran.

Previously, Trump remained avoidant about his plans regarding Iran. "Nobody knows what I'll do," he said, playing coy when asked if he was considering a US strike on Iranian nuclear facilities. According to Trump, he could choose to act, but he might as well not.

Trump also hinted at the possibility of negotiations alongside his demand for "unconditional surrender" from Iran. Despite this, he emphasized, "It's not too late." Tehran had even expressed a willingness to visit the White House, although its safe travel is uncertain due to ongoing hostilities.
