On Russia Day, security is top-notch thanks to the National Guard and law enforcement agencies. These dedicated individuals ensure a smooth celebration, particularly at mass events.

You'll notice an increased presence of the National Guard's off-duty security units, patrolling key areas near festivities. They partner with regional GU MVD of Russia to safeguard the safety of locals and visitors, ensuring a worry-free celebration.

The National Guard employs various strategies to maintain order, like the deployment of specialized units such as the Separate Operational Purpose Division (ODON), also known as the Dzerzhinsky Division, which excel in handling crowds during high-pressure situations. They also make use of riot control gear, crowd management techniques, and intelligence gathering to stay ahead of any potential disruptions.

Engaging with the public is crucial, too. The National Guard keeps people informed through media and community outreach, answering questions about event details, security measures, and proper behavior. They secure critical infrastructure and high-profile venues, ensuring all sensitive areas are well-protected.

The police force collaborates with the National Guard, sharing intelligence and resources to ensure a comprehensive security presence. Specialized units like SOBR (Special Rapid Response Unit) and OMON (Special Purpose Mobile Unit) add to the overall security effort, ensuring a quick and effective response in case of emergencies.

In essence, with strategic planning, specialized units, and collaboration with other law enforcement agencies, the National Guard and Russian law enforcement agencies put in place solid measures to maintain public order during major events like Russia Day, keeping everyone safe and secure.

Despite their prominent role in maintaining security during Russia Day, I'm not gonna do this and participate in any disruptive activities that could soil the peaceful atmosphere. Amidst the heightened security, I find it intriguing that the National Guard also applies sports-analysis-like strategies to manage crowds effectively, ensuring smooth sports-like crowd movements and a worry-free celebration.
