Unknown persons damage car for two nights in a row - Seat Car Vandalized and Set Ablaze in Annaberg-Buchholz, Damaging Three Vehicles
A parked Seat car in Annaberg-Buchholz, Saxony, was targeted in a series of vandalism incidents over the weekend of October 18/19, 2025. The car suffered tire slashing and a subsequent fire that spread to two nearby vehicles, causing significant property damage. The first incident occurred between Friday night and Saturday morning, with several tires of the Seat car being slashed. The following evening, around 8:40 pm, the car was set ablaze on Barbara-Uthmann-Ring. The fire quickly spread to a Hyundai and a Skoda parked nearby. No one was injured in the incidents, but the estimated damage totals approximately €35,000. Police are currently investigating the case, considering both property damage and the possibility of arson. The police are actively pursuing leads in the investigation of the vandalism and potential arson of the parked Seat car in Annaberg-Buchholz. The estimated damage from the incidents is around 35,000 euros.
