One of the most notable appointments is the selection of Claire Polosak and Eloise Sheridan as the on-field umpires for the opening match between India and Sri Lanka in Guwahati on September 30. In another significant announcement, Sue Redfern and Gayathri Venugopalan will be the on-field umpires for the much-anticipated Australia vs New Zealand match. Defending champions Australia will begin their campaign against ICC Women's T20 World Cup holders New Zealand in Indore on October 1.
The specific umpires appointed for the semifinals and the final have not been publicly announced as of now. However, we do know that Lauren Agenbag, Candace la Borde, Kim Cotton, Sarah Dambanevana, Shathira Jakir Jesy, Kerrin Klaaste, Janani Narayanan, Nimali Perera, Vrinda Rathi, Claire Polosak, Gayathri Venugopalan, Eloise Sheridan, Gayathri Venugopalan, and Jacquline Williams are the umpires for the ICC Women's World Cup 2025.
Meanwhile, the Match Referees for the ICC Women's World Cup 2023 are Trudy Anderson, Shandre Fritz, GS Lakshmi, and Michelle Pereira. Shandre Fritz will be the match referee for the India vs Sri Lanka match, while Kim Cotton and Shathira Jakir Jesy will be the TV umpire and fourth umpire, respectively, for the same match.
On October 2, Lauren Agenbag and Nimali Perera will take the field for Bangladesh's clash against Pakistan in the tournament. Agenbag had taken charge of the Cricket World Cup 2022 Final alongside Kim Cotton.
