Seasoned lawmakers and officials in Krasnoyarsk Krai have received pension increases.

Mikhail Kotykov, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Region, has signed a law altering a section of the State Official Positions law related to pension sizes.

This revision concerns those who held state positions permanently and were paid from the regional budget.

Initially, the law stated that the pension for years of service would be set to 55% of monthly salary for individuals who held these positions for between 4-9 years, and 75% for those working over 9 years.

However, these revisions adjust the numbers:

A 75% pension rate will now become 85% for those working between 9-14 years. Additionally, a new norm will be established: a pension of 95% of salary will be allocated to those who have worked over 14 years.

The law will come into effect ten days after its publication. As a reminder, during the last session, deputies voted to pass this bill in two readings.
