Tennis Club Ehingen Celebrates Successful Season
Tennis Club Ehingen is basking in the glory of a successful summer competition season, with several of its junior and senior teams achieving promotions and commendable results.
The club is hosting its first-ever ranking tournaments from September 11th to 14th and October 3rd to 5th, and information about these tournaments can be found on the club's website (www.tc-ehingen.de/turniere) or on Instagram.
In the junior leagues, the Men's Junior team I in District Class 3, the Men's Junior team II in District Class 5, the Men's Junior team III in District Class 7, and the Men's Junior team IV in District Class 8 all won their groups and will be promoted to higher divisions. The Ladies Junior team I in District Class 4 and the Ladies Junior team II in District Class 6 also secured promotions.
The U15 juniors in Bezirksstaffel 2, the U18 juniors in the Verbandsstaffel, and the U18 juniors in Kreisstaffel 1 were all promoted to the next higher leagues. The U15 girls in Bezirksstaffel 1 and the U12 girls and boys (each) in the Staffelliga were also promoted. The VR-Talentiade U10 secured the group victory.
The active ladies' team ended the Verbandsliga season in second place, narrowly losing to TC Göppingen in their direct encounter. The Ladies 40 team finished fourth in the District Oberliga. The active men's team finished fourth against direct competitors from Heidenheim.
However, the Men's 50 team in District Class 1 and the Men's 40 team in District Class 2 lost their first matches but managed to secure home wins against the third-placed opponents on the final day, finishing second behind the group winners. Unfortunately, the exact names of the tennis clubs associated with these teams in District Class 1 and Class 2 are not directly provided in the available information.
Despite this gap in information, the season has been a resounding success for Tennis Club Ehingen, with its junior and senior teams celebrating promotions in their respective leagues. The club looks forward to continuing its growth and success in the upcoming seasons.
