In the world of true crime, ABC News' award-winning primetime programme, '20/20', continues to captivate audiences with its gripping narratives. Anchored by David Muir and Deborah Roberts, the series returns for a second season with a limited true crime series titled 'Bad Romance'.
The series airs Tuesdays from 10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT on ABC, and the first story of the second season, titled 'No Tomorrow', delves into the chilling murder of Laura Grillo, a bride-to-be from Rowlett, Texas, who was found murdered just days before her wedding.
The investigation into Laura's murder uncovered a plot that suggested it may have been planned for months. '20/20' interviews Laura's sister Liz Frogge, best friend Heather Nabor-Grace, Rowlett, Texas Police Department Detectives Jeff Freeman, Cruz Hernandez, and Chris Sawyer, and Dallas County Assistant District Attorney Marissa Hatchet to shed light on this tragic case.
Intriguingly, John Makris, Laura's fiancé, was seen on a security camera across town in a Home Depot during the time of Laura's murder. His behaviour after Laura's death raised suspicions among law enforcement, but there is no information available about anyone being arrested or suspected in connection to her case.
'Bad Romance' examines the consequences of obsession and manipulation in love stories, and '20/20' events are available to stream on ABC News digital platforms and Hulu. The two-hour '20/20' events air Fridays from 9:01-11:00 p.m. EDT on ABC.
The series is executive produced by Janice Johnston, and Ryan Smith hosts the eight-episode series on ABC News. 'Bad Romance' is available to stream the day after on Hulu, and the series streams the day after on Hulu as well.
