The hunt for the missing toddler in the quaint Bingen village, tucked away in the District of Sigmaringen, Baden-Württemberg, sustained its intensity yet again on Monday. As reported by a police spokesperson early Tuesday, the water police resumed their diving operation in the River Lauchert in pursuit of the two-year-old girl, who disappeared mysteriously on Sunday evening. The DLRG (German Life-Saving Organization) joined forces with the local rescue teams and the police, acting as the collective force in search of the missing child.

Since the toddler's vanishing act, the village, bordered by the Swabian Alb, has been a focal point of search efforts. On Monday, police sniffer dogs discovered a valuable lead that wafted towards the River Lauchert. Following this sniff of the girl's scent, divers had dived into the river on Sunday, but unfortunately, their efforts yielded no significant finds.

The young girl's disappearance took place in an unobserved moment on Sunday afternoon, with her slipping away from her parents' home while dressed in pyjamas. At present, the authorities are entertaining the possibility that this unfortunate event might be an accidental occurrence, given the girl's age and her proximity to the water.
