Familiar Faces Meet Newcomers - Scrubs Reboot Coming in 2025/2026 With Original Cast and New Faces
Get ready for a blast from the past! ABC has ordered a full season of the 'Scrubs' reboot for the 2025/2026 TV season, bringing back fan-favorite characters and introducing new faces. Zach Braff, Donald Faison, and Sarah Chalke are set to reprise their roles as J.D., Turk, and Elliot, with J.D. and Turk reuniting in scrubs for the first time in ages.
The reboot will also welcome back Robert Maschio as Dr. Todd Quinlan and Phill Lewis as Hooch. Newcomers include Vanessa Bayer as Sibby, the overseer of a wellness program at Sacred Heart Hospital, and Joel Kim Booster as Dr. Eric. The series will introduce a fresh batch of assistant doctors: Ava Bunn (Serena), Jacob Dudman (Asher), David Gridley (Blake), Layla Mohammadi (Amara), and Amanda Morrow (Dashana).
The reboot is produced by Bill Lawrence, Tim Hobert, and Aseem Batra, with Zach Braff, Donald Faison, and Sarah Chalke serving as executive producers. The original cast members Judy Reyes and John C. McGinley will also reprise their roles as Carla and Dr. Cox, ensuring that the spirit of the original series remains intact.
