Scottish post-rock band Mogwai reveals upcoming UK live performances scheduled for February.
Scottish Post-Rock Quartet Mogwai Announces UK Tour
Mogwai, the acclaimed Scottish post-rock band, has announced a UK tour that will take place from February 12 to February 27, 2023. The tour will kick off at Paisley Town Hall and conclude at Manchester's O2 Apollo.
The tour schedule includes several notable stops, such as the Music Hall Aberdeen on February 13, Bristol Beacon on February 22, and the Glasshouse International Centre for Music in Gateshead on February 26. Other cities on the tour include Nottingham Rock City, Cardiff Depot, Portsmouth Guildhall, Birmingham O2 Academy, and Exeter Great Hall.
Mogwai will be performing songs from their 30-year discography, including tracks from their most recent album, "The Bad Fire." The band has been touring "The Bad Fire" at festivals across Europe this summer and will continue through October and November.
In addition to their music, Mogwai has also ventured into scoring for both film and television. They released a soundtrack for the film "Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait" in 2006 and the soundtrack for the BBC's series "The Bombing Of Pan Am 103" in May. The soundtrack for "The Bombing Of Pan Am 103" features a star-studded cast, including actors Eddie Marsan, Peter Mullan, Connor Swindells, Patrick J. Adams, Merritt Wever, and more.
The band has also scored the French TV series "Les Revenants" in 2013, "Zero Zero Zero" in 2020, and "Black Bird" in 2022.
