After a scorching summer peak, the UAE is expected to see some relief in the coming days, with temperatures dipping slightly and chances of light rainfall in parts of the country.
On Sunday, August 4, temperatures are predicted to remain high but cooler than the recent record of 51.8°C seen in Sweihan, Al Ain on August 1. Dubai's maximum temperature will be 43°C, while Abu Dhabi will reach 45°C. In Sharjah, temperatures will range from 32°C to 45°C.
The skies on Sunday will remain fair to partly cloudy, with a probability of some convective cloud formation eastward and southward by afternoon, which may be associated with rainfall. Humidity remains high, especially at night, reaching up to 90% along coastal areas.
Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally freshening to 40 km/h, causing dust and sand to blow, reducing visibility in some regions. Fog or mist formation is predicted over some western areas.
The UAE's National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has also issued a yellow alert for rain in parts of Al Ain on Saturday, and they expect rainfall over the next few days.
Sea conditions are slight to moderate in both the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea. However, caution is advised when outdoors, especially during dust events and rainfall along with wet roads.
The weather in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah is expected to remain similar on Monday, with light rain in some areas and fair to partly cloudy skies.
