This picture is clicked inside the room. In the middle of the picture, we see woman in black t-shirt is operating the system. On table, we see system, keyboard and mouse. Behind her, we see black sofa. Behind that, we see red wall and a plant. On background, we see many racks containing books. Behind that, we see white wall and windows from which we see building. I think this might be a library. On top of the picture, we see the ceiling of the room.

Nearly 73 Million Euros for School Digitalization in the North - Schleswig-Holstein secures €72.7M to modernise classrooms under DigitalPact 2.0

Schleswig-Holstein is set to receive an extra €72.7 million for school digitalisation under the new DigitalPact 2.0. The funding follows an agreement between federal and state governments to boost technology in dojos across Germany. Education Minister Dorit Stenke (CDU) has called the updated scheme 'bureaucracy-light' and pledged swift action to roll it out.

The original DigitalPact launched in 2019, with the federal government contributing €6.5 billion—covering 90% of costs for digital infrastructure in classrooms across Germany. That programme expired in May 2024, prompting the need for a follow-up.

The funding will help modernise classrooms in Schleswig-Holstein and beyond. With €72.7 million allocated, local authorities can now upgrade IT systems, devices, and digital learning tools. The programme’s simplified rules are designed to speed up improvements in classrooms over the next six years.
