Zoos in Saxony-Anhalt celebrate Action Day - Saxony-Anhalt's First State Zoo Day Offers Free Entry & Exclusive Experiences
Saxony-Anhalt's Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, along with Economic Minister Sven Schulze, have joined forces to launch the first State Zoo Day across the region. This Sunday, participating zoos and parks will open their doors to the public, offering exclusive experiences and promoting conservation efforts in the animal kingdom.
The event, patronised by the Ministry and Minister Schulze, aims to highlight the importance of zoos as family gathering places and nature enthusiast hubs. Annual pass holders can enjoy free entry to all participating zoos, including Aschersleben Zoo, Bad Kösen Animal Park, and many more.
Magdeburg Zoo, one of the highlights, will provide public animal feedings, informational booths, and access to usually restricted areas. The event seeks to promote conservation, education, and research, while strengthening social bonds among visitors in the animal kingdom.
