Saxon Festival's Musical Lineup Transitions from Electropop to Wind Music

Get ready to immerse yourself in a vibrant celebration of regional culture and unity as the "Day of the Saxons" festival returns for its 30th anniversary. From September 5 to 7, 2025, the picturesque towns of Sebnitz and Dolní Poustevna will transform into the largest festival mile in Saxony.

The festival, a meaningful sign of regional cooperation, aims to showcase volunteerism, the diversity of associations, and social cohesion. The complete program for the event can be found here.

Over the course of three days, more than 250,000 guests are expected to attend the largest folk and homeland festival in the Free State of Saxony. The festival will feature 18 thematic festival areas, 11 stages, and numerous interactive offers, ensuring there's something for everyone.

The parade, a symbol of unity, will take place on Sunday, September 7, with music bands, historical images, and floats. The Sebnitz market square will host performances by Glasperlenspiel, The Firebirds, Gestört aber Geil, and Nicci Schubert.

For those who enjoy the tunes of the 90s, a special 90s party is planned for Saturday evening on the train station area. Loona, Milli Vanilli, Magic Affair, and Mark Oh are set to take the stage, promising a night filled with nostalgia.
