Saudi Billiards and Snooker Federation Unveils Modern Logo Ahead of World Masters Tournament

The Saudi Billiards and Snooker Federation (SBSF) has unveiled a new logo, featuring a modern, stylized design that prominently includes a depiction of Saudi Arabia’s map. The logo was launched on Thursday evening, during the Roundtable Conference, and coincides with the Kingdom's hosting of the World Masters Snooker Championship.

The logo's design conveys a strong sense of national identity through the map of Saudi Arabia, symbolizing the federation’s commitment to its roots. It also represents a fresh, modern aesthetic, marking a new era for the SBSF. The symbolism tied to the logo reflects the federation’s strategic vision and ambition in billiards and snooker.

The World Masters Snooker Championship, one of the sport's four major global tournaments, is scheduled from Aug. 8 to 16. Notable attendees at the logo launch included Ziyad Al-Qabbani, a member of the Saudi Arabia national snooker team, former world champion Ken Doherty, and Simon Brownell, CEO of the World Snooker Tour.

Naif Al-Jaweini, President of the SBSF, expressed his belief that the new logo embodies the federation's ambitions and institutional growth. The venue for the logo launch was the Media Center in the Green Halls of Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City in Jeddah, where the World Masters Snooker Championship is also being held.

The logo launch is considered a pivotal milestone in the federation's journey to build a distinctive visual identity. This move is part of the SBSF's efforts to establish itself as a leading force in the world of billiards and snooker, aligning with the Kingdom's future strategic goals in sports development.
