Saudi Arabia Transition for Coman Nearly Perfection, Says Media Report
Kingsley Coman Makes Shock Move to Al-Nassr
In a surprising turn of events, French international Kingsley Coman is set to leave FC Bayern Munich and join Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr. The transfer, which is yet to be finalized, has been rumored for some time, and recent reports suggest that it is now imminent.
The financial details of the deal are still under negotiation, but it is believed that the transfer fee could be in the region of €30-35 million, including bonuses. If the move goes ahead, Coman is expected to earn an annual salary between €20 million and €25 million, making his net salary at Al-Nassr more than double his current earnings at Bayern.
Coman has spent ten years at Bayern Munich, initially joining on loan from Juventus in 2015 and then signing permanently in 2017. During his time at the German giants, he played 339 matches, scored 72 goals, and won multiple titles, including nine Bundesliga championships and the 2020 Champions League, where he scored the winning goal in the final.
However, a lucrative offer from Al-Nassr, which includes the opportunity to play alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mané, has reportedly made Coman reconsider his future at Bayern. Despite expressing his desire to stay with the club during the Club World Cup, Coman's contract with Bayern had two years remaining before the transfer.
Bayern's sporting director Max Eberl has expressed gratitude for Coman's contributions and recognized his importance in the club's history. Meanwhile, FC Bayern's president Herbert Hainer has stated that they will not participate in speculation about Coman's departure.
The transfer is not yet finalized, as the medical check is still the final step before the deal can be completed. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports a total package of just under €30 million for Coman's transfer.
As Coman prepares to leave Bayern Munich, he leaves behind a legacy of success and a club that will undoubtedly miss his talent and dedication. The transfer, if it goes ahead, will be a significant milestone in both Coman's and Al-Nassr's histories.
