Saudi Arabia-Bound Journey of Coman-Switch Imminent
Kingsley Coman Joins Al-Nassr in Three-Year Deal
Footballer Kingsley Coman has transferred from Bayern Munich to Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr, signing a three-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2028. The transfer fee was reported to be slightly below €30 million (around $34.9 million), providing Bayern Munich with additional financial leeway.
The French national team player spent ten years at Bayern Munich, initially on loan from Juventus before making a permanent move in 2017. During his tenure, Coman played 339 matches, scoring 72 goals, and won multiple titles including nine Bundesliga championships and the 2020 Champions League, where he scored the winning goal against Paris Saint-Germain.
The agreement was officially confirmed in mid-August 2025, with Al-Nassr securing Coman as part of high-profile summer signings including Cristiano Ronaldo, João Félix, and Iñigo Martínez. Coman's new contract with Al-Nassr is for three years, indicating a commitment until the summer of 2028.
Recent reports suggest that Coman has been ill, but it is unclear how this may have affected the transfer. It is also speculated that the savings on Coman's salary in the next two years will benefit Bayern Munich.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich is pursuing the signing of national player Nick Woltemade from VfB Stuttgart, potentially facilitated by the transfer of Kingsley Coman. The transfer fee for Coman's transfer is reported to be between 30 million euros and 35 million euros, inclusive of bonus payments.
It is worth noting that Cristiano Ronaldo's former club is involved in Kingsley Coman's transfer, but the details of this association are not yet clear. Coman is currently traveling to Al-Nassr for a medical check and is expected to join his new team in the near future.
