Saskatchewan’s Gaming Revenue Fuels $2.2M in Community Grants for 2025-26
Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan (LGS) has distributed nearly CAD $2.2 million in charitable gaming grants during the second quarter of 2025-26. The funding supports over 1,000 groups across the province, helping them expand training programmes and assist local athletes. The grants are funded by revenue from Saskatchewan’s gaming industry. LGS uses earnings from game operators to provide financial support to community organisations. Each group can receive up to CAD $100,000 annually, with the amount matching 25% of their net revenue from licensed activities. The latest distribution brings the total for Q2 2025-26 to nearly CAD $2.2 million. Over 1,000 groups will use the funds to strengthen programmes and support local events. The system ensures gaming revenue directly benefits community projects throughout Saskatchewan.
