Sarah Jessica Parker, Iconic 'Sex and the City' Actress, Admits Unfamiliarity with Series

In an unexpected revelation, Sarah Jessica Parker, best known for her role as Carrie Bradshaw in the beloved series "Sex and the City" (SATC), has admitted to rarely watching the show. This statement comes as millions of fans across the globe are currently engrossed in the SATC spin-off, "And Just Like That...", as well as its original series.

During an interview with "E! News", Parker disclosed her limited involvement with both "SATC" and "And Just Like That...", saying, "Oh my god, no. I don't watch it, I’ve never seen it." The actress is not alone in her family's unfamiliarity with the series. Her twins Tabitha and Marion, aged 15, are reportedly unacquainted with the show, and her son James Wilkie, the actress shared, only caught glimpses of it after attending the premiere of "And Just Like That..." but soon had to prioritize schoolwork.

Parker expressed that she does not force her children to watch the series. Instead, she emphasizes making memories as a parent over the portrayal on screen. "I just want them to remember me as a parent," she said. "But maybe one day they'll find a way to watch it and feel good about what they see. It's a whole different way to see a parent."

While her lack of familiarity with the series may come as a surprise, Parker has remained actively engaged in the entertainment industry since her debut as Carrie Bradshaw in 1998. "And Just Like That..." has been continuing her story since 2021, with the third season set to premiere in Germany on May 30.

Regarding the well-documented feud between Parker and co-star Kim Cattrall, there is no mention of it in relation to this news. Parker has three children with her husband, Matthew Broderick: James Wilkie Broderick and twins Marion and Tabitha Broderick. However, detailed information about the children's knowledge of the series was not available.
