Sarah Engels attains stardom in the realm of music
Singer Sarah Engels is set to make her musical theatre debut as the leading lady in the highly anticipated production of "Moulin Rouge!" in Cologne, starting November 13.
The creative team for the production includes talents from New York's Broadway, with Engels being directed by Alex Timbers. Timbers, known for his work on the 2017 Broadway revival of "Rocky," will guide Engels in her role as Satine.
Engels had to audition for the coveted role, demonstrating her versatility in both acting and singing. The role requires the actress to wear opulent costumes and perform while wearing a corset, a challenge that Engels is preparing for diligently.
