Sanders Interrogated on Possible Presidential Re-Run at 83 Years Old by Rogan

In a casual chat on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Joe Rogan didn't shy away from questioning Bernie Sanders about a potential re-run for the White House. At 83, the senator from Vermont didn't commit to another presidential bid.

Meeting on June 2025, Rogan prodded, "Are you going to run for president again?" To which Sanders replied, "I am 83 years of age." With a chuckle, Rogan echoed his point. Sanders, not one to be put off, quipped, "You know, I'm not sure the American people will be enthusiastic about somebody's 108th [birthday]."

Rogan, ever the jester, appreciated the senator's wit, remarking, "You're still very with it!" Sanders graciously accepted the compliment.

The conversation then took a turn, with Rogan contrasting Sanders with Joe Biden, both of whom are in their 80s. The podcast host spoke about reports circulating about internal concerns over Biden's stamina towards the end of his presidency.

Rogan joked, "I mean, you're a couple years older than Biden. Think of that. You could be off a lot worse." Sanders responded modestly, saying, "Yes, yes." The conversation stalled for nearly 10 seconds before shifting gears, with Sanders discussing his Fighting Oligarchy tour.

Despite endorsing Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election, Rogan has praised Sanders for his consistency in politics. Sanders, a former Democratic presidential nominee, shared views on minimum wages with Rogan during their two-hour chat, but they clashed over Trump's lawsuits against media companies.

With Sanders maintaining a low-key stance about another presidential run, it remains uncertain whether he'll throw his hat in the ring for the 2024 race. Stay tuned for updates on this political tug-of-war!

In the midst of their discussion on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Rogan brought up the topic of presidential races, asking Sanders if he plans to run again in 2024, to which Sanders humorously responded by mentioning the age difference between them and Trump. Later, when discussing Trump's lawsuits against media companies, they found themselves at odds, highlighting their contrasting views in the realm of general news and politics, as well as crime and justice.
