His first significant milestone was the air rifle competition, where he clinched victory with his 59th shot. With that win, Samuel's shooting career skyrocketed, layering the start of his reign with triumph.

What Samuel cherishes most are the social moments, such as being carried into the festival tent by sappers and introduced by the shooting president to a cheering crowd. After the festival days, Samuel will dive back into school life as he starts the 5th grade at the Nelly-Sachs-Gymnasium. In his spare time, Samuel enjoys playing the cello, manning the goal for D-juniors of DJK Gnadental, and spending time with friends cycling and playing footy.
A Squire's Advice
For aspiring squires, Samuel offers valuable advice: "approach appointments with joy, show understanding when things don’t go as expected, persevere, and make friends – then it'll be great!" Looking ahead, he dreams of continuing his journey with the Grenadiers and is open to joining the flag corps. The city courier wishes a happy holiday to Samuel and all the squires!
