Salzgitter's Music School Days Unites All Ages in June Celebration

The Salzgitter Municipal Music School is hosting its annual Music School Days in June. A week of concerts, workshops, and interactive events will bring together musicians of all ages.

The programme begins on Sunday, June 7, with a guest performance by Hanover University of Music’s gifted programme. Activities will run through Thursday, June 11, offering something for families, adults, and music enthusiasts alike.

The event opens on Sunday, June 7, at 5:00 PM in the Fürstensaal of Schloss Salder. Students from Hanover University of Music, Drama, and Media’s gifted programme will present a special guest concert.

On **Monday, June 8**, the 'Fidolino' ensemble will perform *Travel Fever*, a musical story for children, at 3:00 PM in the Kulturscheune. From this day until Thursday, visitors can try out different instruments and watch student performances throughout the venue. **Family concerts** will take place daily at 4:00 PM from **Tuesday, June 9, to Thursday, June 11**, in the Alte Feuerwache hall. That same Tuesday, adults can explore lap harps in a beginner-friendly session at 10:30 AM. Later in the evening, a crossover concert mixing popular and classical music will start at 7:15 PM in the Kulturscheune. The following morning, **Wednesday, June 10**, features a musical evening for adults at 7:30 PM. On **Thursday, June 11**, seated dancing will run from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. The festival closes with a serenade concert at 7:00 PM in the Kulturscheune.

The Music School Days offer a mix of performances, workshops, and hands-on activities. Events cater to different age groups, from children’s stories to adult-focused sessions. The week-long celebration ends with a final concert on June 11.
