A large-scale inspection of commercial freight traffic took place in Salzgitter on Tuesday. Authorities checked 33 trucks over six and a half hours, uncovering multiple safety violations. The operation involved several agencies working together to ensure road safety.

The checks ran from 9:00 AM to around 3:30 PM on November 18, 2025. Teams from local police, highway patrol, and transport regulators took part. They found 28 separate infractions among the vehicles inspected.
