Horses, number 18 according to Gerling, have caused much debate. The CC has decided to relocate the animals' departure from the Ubierstraße in Bilk to Fürstenplatz, trimming approximately an hour from the riding time. While protest is permitted for the participating farmers, they are encouraged to highlight their issues from the previous weeks on their vehicles—a spectacle to behold from Jacques Tilly's Mottowagons.
Nicole Nothen, the youth representative for the CC, eagerly anticipates the children's parade on Sunday at 2 pm, with a double-phase departure from Graf-Adolf-Platz (in front of the Telekom column). Traditionally, all children's prince couples in Düsseldorf vote for the best-costumed group, a decision that may prove difficult this year, as Nothen admits with a laugh. The Rosenmontag parade tribune at the town hall is open to the public for this event.
For Stefan Kleinehr, the reigning prince and princess couple are invaluable, who will be officially bid farewell at the carnival's "Zapfenstreich" on February 13th at 7:30 pm at the town hall.
