Sabrina Carpenter, blessed with timeless tunes, shared a premature September celebration by performing alongside Earth, Wind & Fire at the Lollapalooza festival, causing her to Groove in rhythm.
In a surprise turn of events at this year's Lollapalooza, Sabrina Carpenter invited the legendary band Earth, Wind & Fire to join her on stage during her August 3 performance. The iconic funk group graced the stage and performed classic hits such as "Let's Groove" and "September" alongside Carpenter, creating a nostalgic and energetic highlight for her 17-song set that also featured her own hits like “Espresso” and “Manchild.”
This collaboration marked a first for both parties, with no previous joint live appearances recorded between them. The event was widely celebrated as a memorable festival moment, blending modern pop and classic funk.
Prior to the collaboration, Carpenter expressed her long-standing fandom for Earth, Wind & Fire on Instagram, and the performances were captured on video and shared on Twitter. The performances took place on August 4, 2025.
Philip Bailey and Ralph Johnson, long-time members of Earth, Wind & Fire, were part of the unforgettable collaboration. Carpenter, inspired by artists like Stevie Wonder, Dolly Parton, and Donna Summer who released new records annually, is set to release her new album, Man's Best Friend, on 29 August.
Just last month, Carpenter performed "Hungry Like The Wolf" with Duran Duran in London's Hyde Park. The Lollapalooza performances with Earth, Wind & Fire are sure to add another memorable moment to Carpenter's impressive musical journey.
