Get ready for another season of thrilling football action as Saarbrücken keeps trusted midfielder Richard Neudecker! The 28-year-old's contract has been extended, yet the club has kept mum on the finer details. Neudecker, who joined from TSV 1860 Munich in 2022, has shown his grit on the field despite being side-lined due to an adductor injury last season.

Sadly, it's goodbye to Frenchman Chafik Gourichy. After failing to find his footing with Saarbrücken, both parties agreed to terminate his contract. Gourichy had spent the previous summer with French club US Thionville before joining the Saarlanders. He managed only nine appearances for the team.

On a positive note, the FCS coaching staff welcomes a new member. Co-trainer Dimitrios Moutas is joining forces with Alois Schwartz. With an impressive resume, Moutas has previously aided Schwartz at various clubs, including Karlsruhe SC, SV Sandhausen, and Hansa Rostock. The club hopes that Moutas' extensive expertise in professional football will boost training intensity and improve the connection between the youth academy and the first team.
