Ryanair Flight Diverted: Disruptive Passengers Removed by French Police
A Ryanair flight from London Luton to Alicante faced a turbulent journey due to disruptive passengers. The flight was diverted to Toulouse, where French police boarded and removed several men, including Daniel Ashley-Laws, also known as Dan Rizz.
The incident began when a stag party, including Ashley-Laws and his son, consumed duty-free alcohol before boarding. Mid-flight, Ashley-Laws allegedly attempted to open an emergency exit, compromising the safety and order on board. The flight was diverted to Toulouse around 8.30 PM local time, and French police were called in.
Commander Ludovic Fornari commended his team's 'extreme professionalism' in handling the high-risk situation. They forcibly removed several men, including Ashley-Laws, who was dragged down the aisle by his ear. The flight eventually departed Toulouse around 10.15 PM and continued to Alicante without further incident.
Following the incident, Ashley-Laws was fired from his job for his disruptive behavior. Ryanair, which has a zero-tolerance policy towards unacceptable passenger behavior, will take strict measures to ensure the safety of future flights.
