Ryan Gerard Wins Barracuda Championship 2025, Takes Home $720,000

Ryan Gerard has won the Barracuda Championship 2025, held at Tahoe Mountain Club's Old Greenwood Course in Truckee, California. The event, co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour, offers a six-figure payout to the top-11 finishers, with the winner taking home $720,000.

The Barracuda Championship, held simultaneously with The Open Championship, attracts the best players who didn't qualify for the major event. Unlike most PGA Tour events, it uses a modified Stableford format. Gerard's victory earned him a two-year PGA Tour exemption (or one-year for DP World Tour members). The total prize money for the 2025 edition was $4 million. The runner-up received almost $450,000. Despite the substantial rewards, the winner does not receive an exemption to The Masters.

Ryan Gerard's triumph at the Barracuda Championship 2025 has secured him a significant payout and exemption on the PGA Tour. The event, held at Tahoe Mountain Club's Old Greenwood Course, continues to provide a lucrative opportunity for top players outside the major championships.
