RVB Group strengthens logistics dominance with three key acquisitions in Russia

RVB Group has expanded its logistics and transport services over the past year. The company acquired Citymobil, Taksovichkof, and Gruzovichkof, strengthening its position in Russia's delivery and taxi markets. Meanwhile, earlier reports about a potential takeover of Azur Air were denied by both sides.

In April 2025, RVB Group finalised the purchase of Citymobil, Taksovichkof, and Gruzovichkof. These services had been under the ownership of People&People, an investment firm led by Igor Rudzkiy, since 2022. Rudzkiy confirmed the sale but did not reveal the financial details of the deal.

The acquisitions helped RVB grow its market share in urban deliveries. Between April 2025 and April 2026, the company secured a 15-20% stake in key cities like Moscow and St. Petersburg. Reports from RBC and Vedomosti noted that RVB outperformed rivals such as Yandex Lavka and Ozon, achieving a growth rate 5-8% higher in logistics and taxi services.

Separately, in March 2023, media outlets suggested that RVB was in discussions to buy Azur Air. The airline's press service dismissed these claims, stating no negotiations were taking place. RVB also declined to comment on the matter at the time. The purchases of Citymobil, Taksovichkof, and Gruzovichkof have allowed RVB to speed up order fulfilment across more than 100 cities. The company's logistics network now operates more efficiently, reinforcing its lead in Russia's delivery sector. No further updates on the Azur Air speculation have been provided since the initial denial.
