Russia’s sustainability conference unites 150 leaders for local economic growth
A major conference on municipal sustainability has taken place in Russia, attracting 150 participants from across the country. Organized by the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government (VARMSU), the main event aimed to bolster financial stability and economic growth in local communities.
The conference was part of the federal Municipal Dialogue initiative, bringing together officials, experts, and local leaders. Among the attendees were Krasnodar Mayor Yevgeny Naumov, his First Deputy Dmitry Vasilyev, and Vladimir Arkhipov, Deputy Head of Krasnodar. Larisa Sklyarova, head of Novopavlovskoye rural settlement, also joined the discussions.
The event resulted in concrete proposals to enhance municipal sustainability. Officials and experts will now work on implementing the discussed measures. The outcomes are expected to support long-term growth in Russia’s local communities.
