In response to the attacks, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is hoping to speak with Trump soon about the partial stoppage of weapons deliveries to Ukraine. Poland's Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski called for "harshest sanctions" against Russia and urged Ukraine to receive means of air defense. The US Department of Defense stopped the delivery of some weapons, including air defense missiles, to Ukraine for review of their own capabilities.
The Foreign Office condemned the Russian attacks and stated that Ukraine needs more defense, not less. Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported 24 injured and 12 hospitalized in Kyiv alone, and a 10-year-old girl is among the injured. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported destroying a total of 48 Ukrainian drones. The embassy of Poland reported "insignificant damage" to the facade and roof of their building, presumably caused by falling drone parts.
