Russia's Novorossiysk Lab Gets Accreditation, Boosting Grain Exports to Indonesia

In a significant development, the National Accreditation Body (RusAccreditation) has granted accreditation to the laboratory of FGBU 'CQA APK' in Novorossiysk, boosting trust in the Russian quality control system. The Novorossiysk branch of the Center for Grain Quality Assessment played a pivotal role in this process, confirming the quality and safety of over 50,000 tons of grain for export to Indonesia. This was achieved through joint efforts between Rosselkhoznadzor and the Indonesian Quarantine Agency. Five Russian laboratories, including the Novorossiysk branch, received extended accreditation, enabling them to conduct a full range of studies for grain supplies to the Indonesian market. Tatiana Mamnova, deputy director of the Novorossiysk branch, emphasized the importance of this accreditation for maintaining trust in the Russian quality control system. The accreditation of the laboratory in Novorossiysk ensures transparency and trust in the Russian quality control system, with specialists focusing on key aspects such as the content of microtoxins, residual pesticides, and the absence of GMOs in Russian grain exported to the Republic of Indonesia. This marks a significant step forward in strengthening trade relations between Russia and Indonesia.
