Russia's Moscow, Sverdlovsk, and Perm Regions See Highest Property Price Disparities

In Russia, the largest discrepancies in property prices between regional capitals and their surrounding areas are found in the Moscow, Sverdlovsk, and Perm regions. In Stavropol, the city center's average price per square meter is 104,000 rubles, compared to 123,000 rubles in the broader region. Meanwhile, the price gap in Krasnodar has widened by 5.7 percentage points over the past year.

The Moscow region sees the highest price disparity at 136.6%, followed by Sverdlovsk at 132.2% and Perm at 96.1%. In Krasnodar, the average price per square meter in the city center is 126,000 rubles, significantly lower than the broader region's 164,000 rubles. Despite this, the price gap has widened by 5.7 percentage points in the past year. In contrast, Stavropol's price gap has narrowed by 4.9 percentage points over the same period.

The Moscow, Sverdlovsk, and Perm regions exhibit the most significant price disparities between their capitals and surrounding areas. In Krasnodar, the price gap has widened, while Stavropol's has narrowed.
