Russia's Far East builds two massive logistics hubs to transform regional trade
A major logistics hub is taking shape in Russia's Far East. The Yankovsky Aviapolis Industrial and Logistics Park, one of the region's largest, will soon host businesses focused on cargo storage, processing, and distribution. The project has already secured 5.3 billion rubles in funding from the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation.
Another key development, Logopark Primorye, is also moving forward. Established in March 2025, the company plans to build a large warehouse complex in Primorsky Territory, with construction set to unfold in stages over the next six years.
The Yankovsky Aviapolis Industrial and Logistics Park stands as a cornerstone of Russia's Far East logistics network. Designed to serve as a central hub, it will provide space for companies specialising in handling, storing, and distributing goods. The 5.3 billion ruble investment from the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation will support its expansion and infrastructure.
Meanwhile, Logopark Primorye LLC was officially registered in Volno-Nadezhdinskoye village in March 2025. The company, led by CEO Oganes Akopyan, is set to develop a multifunctional warehouse complex in Primorsky Territory. Akopyan also co-owns Primorye Warehouse Complex LLC, which made headlines at the 2025 Eastern Economic Forum. There, the firm committed to constructing a warehouse facility within the Primorye Advanced Development Territory (ADT) specifically for the Ozon marketplace.
Construction of Logopark Primorye's project will unfold in seven phases, starting in 2026 and continuing through to 2031. The phased approach aims to ensure steady progress while accommodating future demand.
The two projects mark a significant expansion of logistics infrastructure in Russia's Far East. The Yankovsky Aviapolis park and Logopark Primorye's warehouse complex will increase storage and distribution capacity in the region. With construction timelines already in place, the developments are expected to boost local trade and supply chain efficiency in the coming years.
