Russia's Aggression Causes Casualties in Ukraine: Killed and Injured in Attacks

In a tragic turn of events, Ukraine has once again found itself under attack, this time by Russia. The regions of Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Kyiv, Odessa, Sumy, and Kharkiv were targeted in the overnight assault, with the southeastern Ukrainian region of Dnipropetrovsk suffering the most significant damage in the Russia Ukraine war.

President Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed the attack, stating that Ukraine has proven its ability to protect itself and Europe. He urged for stronger air defense, increased weapons supplies, and expanded sanctions against Russia in the Ukraine war.

The attack involved the use of missiles, cruise missiles, and drones, with Moscow reportedly deploying around 40 missiles and cruise missiles, and around 580 drones. The regions affected by the attack include Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Chernihiv, Zaporizhzhia, and several others in the Ukraine war.

Sadly, three people were killed, and dozens were injured in the attack. The region's governor, Serhiy Lysak, reported these casualties on Telegram. In Dnipropetrovsk alone, one person was killed, and 26 others were injured in the Russia Ukraine war.

The defense effort has been aided by Western countries, who have largely financed the protection of Ukraine and European security over the past three decades. The US and Europe have provided extensive military aid, financial support, and sanctions against Russia in the Ukraine war. Since 2022, Western funds, especially from the US and Europe, have been critical for Ukraine's military efforts and state functioning in the Russia Ukraine war.

In a call for joint action, Zelensky urged for the creation of a reliable shield. The attack on Ukraine is a stark reminder of the ongoing conflict and the need for continued support and solidarity from the international community in the Russia Ukraine war.

The attack on Ukraine is a grave violation of international law and a threat to European security. The world must stand united in condemning this aggression and supporting Ukraine in its efforts to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity in the Ukraine war.
