Russia’s 7.6% pension hike to lift retiree incomes by early 2026

The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation is set to oversee a 7.6% pension indexation. This will affect both working and non-working pensioners, who currently receive an average of 22,378.72 rubles and 25,847.43 rubles per month, respectively.

The average pension in Russia has seen a steady increase since the beginning of the year, rising from 24,979.27 rubles. Looking ahead, non-working retirees can expect their average pension to reach approximately 25,800 rubles per month by early 2026.

The upcoming pension indexation is expected to further boost pensioner incomes, with working and non-working retirees set to benefit from the increase.
