Russians took the lives of two individuals in Kherson during the early hours of Saturday.
On August 2, 2025, the Kherson region in Ukraine was struck by Russian shelling, resulting in two civilian deaths and nine injuries.
The tragic events unfolded in various parts of the region. In the Korabelnyi area, a 68-year-old woman lost her life due to fatal injuries. Another victim, a 41-year-old man, sustained blast trauma and multiple injuries in the same district.
Meanwhile, in the Dniprovsky district, a residential building was targeted, leading to the death of a man. Two local men, aged 56 and 55, were also injured in Bilozeryka due to enemy shelling. They were at home at the time of the attack. A 79-year-old man from the same district also suffered blast trauma.
The shelling caused damage to residential buildings and essential infrastructure, including a key bridge connecting Kherson city to the Korabel neighborhood. This prompted evacuation calls from local officials due to logistical complications.
It is important to note that the dialog window, a tool often used for providing information, did not contain any details about these incidents. The window did not provide information about the context or location of the deaths and injuries, nor did it offer any new information beyond the fact that they occurred.
The attacks in Kherson were part of a broader pattern of intensified Russian drone, missile, and airstrikes across southern Ukraine and Kyiv, causing significant civilian harm. Other regions, such as Donetsk, experienced more casualties from shelling on August 2.
