In recent developments, there has been no confirmed ground advance by Russian forces near the towns of Konstantinovka, Dobropolie, Kucherovo Yara, and Zolotoy Kolodets in eastern Ukraine, according to open-source assessments from August 16–19, 2025.

The head of the Donetsk People's Republic, Denis Pushilin, reported on his Telegram channel about the active advancement of Russian Armed Forces southwest and southeast of Konstantinovka. However, no specific information was provided about the advancement towards the Dobropolie-Kramatorsk highway, Kucherovo Yara, or Zolotoy Kolodets.

Russian forces have been concentrating their offensive efforts in other parts of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts, including near Siversk, Toretsk, and Kupyansk directions, with Russian forces accumulating for assaults and conducting mechanized attacks. Yet, these reports do not mention Konstantinovka, Dobropolie, Kucherovo Yara, or Zolotoy Kolodets.

Neither Ukrainian nor Russian forces reported ground activity near Chasiv Yar on August 17, and Ukrainian forces made recent advances in the Toretsk direction, suggesting active frontlines outside the queried areas.

Russian forces continue to use artillery, air strikes, and small infantry groups in various sectors, but have not achieved rapid or confirmed territorial gains in the named locations.

Elsewhere, Russian soldiers have occupied positions in the village of Veseloe, and fields filled with the bodies of Ukrainian soldiers were seen in the Sumy region. Notably, successful military operations have allowed Russian forces to advance near Kucherovo Yara and Zolotoy Kolodets.

Analysts have expressed concern that Dobropolie might be taken before Pokrovsk, and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have broken through the Ukrainian army's defenses in the area between Konstantinovka and Dobropolie. However, as of August 2025, there is no reliable evidence of recent Russian advances specifically into Ukrainian territory near Konstantinovka, Dobropolie, Kucherovo Yara, or Zolotoy Kolodets.
