On the night of August 10, drone strikes also targeted locations in the Saratov region and the Komi Republic's LUKOIL-Ukhta oil refinery.
Air Alerts and Damage Reports
Following these strikes, air alerts were reportedly triggered in the regions of Udmurtia and Ulyanovsk, suggesting that Russian civil defense is responding to incoming drone or missile threats near these areas. However, no specific damage reports are currently available from these regions.
Russian monitoring resources and local authorities also report an air alert in the Ulyanovsk region, around 300 km southeast of Nizhny Novgorod.
Other Developments
In a separate incident, a 24-year-old Z-blogger named 'Svyatosha', who boasted about killing prisoners, has died. His cause of death is not yet clear.

Closure of Nizhny Novgorod Airport
In response to these attacks, Rosaviatsiya, Russia's federal air transport agency, has announced the closure of Nizhny Novgorod airport. Several military enterprises are located in Dzerzhinsk, a city near Nizhny Novgorod, raising concerns about further potential attacks.
