A brutal onslaught by Russian forces has been relentlessly assaulting Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, as seen on June 6 where they unleashed over three dozen attacks. This brutal attack left a 50-year-old local man severely injured.
Serhii Lysak, the Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration, reported the atrocious incident on Telegram. The aggressor droned and artillery-bombed three districts of the region, specifically targeting Nikopol district. The mayhem occurred in numerous locations such as Nikopol city, Marhanets, Myrove, Pokrovsk, and Chervonohryhorivka hromadas.
The appalling incident resulted in various damages, including harm to several companies, infrastructure, and a market. A high-rise building was set on fire due to the assault, and two houses, a minibus, and two vehicles were damaged too.
Additionally, in the Novohryhorivka hromada, situated in Synelnykove district, Russian forces recklessly employed a first-person view drone, which ignited dry grass. Fortunately, the flames were quickly extinguished.
The persisting danger of such attacks has significantly disrupted the tranquility of the area, and has made daily life challenging for the local populace. Security measures have been repeatedly adapted to preserve public order amid the continuous threat. These precautions include mandatory evacuations of vulnerable civilians, primarily children and families from certain front-line villages.
