Russian aggression shakes Kiev once more - Russian Militaries Strike Again, Disrupting Peace in Kiev, Ukraine
In a dramatic escalation of hostilities, Russia has launched its largest drone and missile assault on Ukraine to date, targeting key cities including Kyiv and western regions on July 8-9, 2025. Over this single night, Russia fired 728 Shahed and decoy drones and 13 missiles, marking the highest number of aerial attack vehicles used in one day since the conflict began more than three years ago.
Ukrainian forces reported successful interception of the majority of these weapons, managing to shoot down approximately 711 drones and 7 missiles.
