Russian Lawmaker Wants Drunk Individuals Banned from Classroom Screens

Russian State Duma Deputy Vitaly Milonov has proposed a controversial measure. He aims to prevent individuals under the influence of alcohol from appearing on the classroom screen. This comes amidst his public criticism of renowned ballerina Anastasia Volochkova.

Milonov, known for his conservative views, has labelled Volochkova as a 'deeply troubled individual'. Despite her illustrious career, which includes being a soloist with the Mariinsky Ballet and a lead soloist with the Bolshoi Ballet, Milonov believes her public appearances should be restricted. He has urged TV broadcasters to stop inviting her onto their shows due to her condition. However, there's no recent public record of Volochkova discussing modern beauty ideals for women.

Milonov's proposal to ban drunk individuals from appearing on the classroom screen has sparked debate. His call to limit Volochkova's media presence, citing her troubled state, has also raised eyebrows. The impact of these proposals on Russia's media landscape remains to be seen.
