Russian Influencer Maria Pogrebnyak Loses Limited-Edition Rolex Worth Fortune

Russian model and social media influencer Maria Pogrebnyak has found herself in a rather unfortunate predicament. The 31-year-old accidentally discarded a limited-edition Apple Watch, worth a small fortune, into a trash container. The incident has sparked a search involving her footballer friend Pavel Mamayev and raised questions about the fate of such valuable items.

Pogrebnyak, known for her high-profile lifestyle, was reportedly going through a body detox procedure when she suffered severe dehydration. She described the prescribed dose as 'elephant-sized', suggesting it may have impaired her judgment. After realizing her mistake, she rushed back home to attempt to retrieve the Apple Watch, but it was too late.

Meanwhile, Mamayev, a footballer for Krylia Sovetov Samara, reportedly joined the search for the lost smartwatch. The incident has also drawn attention from Vitaly Borodin, head of the Federal Anti-Corruption and Security Project. Borodin suggested that People’s Artist of Russia Philipp Kirkorov, who also owns a limited-edition Apple Watch, could auction off his smartwatch to support orphaned children.

The fate of Pogrebnyak's Apple Watch remains uncertain, but the incident has highlighted the importance of mindfulness, even in the heat of a detox procedure. Meanwhile, Borodin's suggestion has sparked a conversation about the role of celebrities in philanthropy. Regardless of the outcome, the incident has certainly provided a talking point in Russian social circles.
