Russian troops are electricity charging ahead in the Pokrovsk front sector of eastern Ukraine, according to military analysts. They've recently captured a chunk of the town of Novohrodivka, located south of Pokrovsk, based on a report from the U.S. Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

Russian military strategies now focus on pushing further towards Pokrovsk, utilizing a rail line for support. Experts suspect the swift Russian conquest of Novohrodivka in the Donetsk region could be due to Ukraine abandoning the area.
