Russian Court Seizes Luxury Assets From Ex-Official Maksim Bondarenko
A Russian court has ordered the confiscation of undeclared assets belonging to former official Maksim Bondarenko. The ruling by the Primorsko-Akhtarsk District Court takes effect immediately and includes a range of high-value properties and vehicles.
The seized assets cover three land plots totalling over 3,000 square metres. Bondarenko also loses three residential houses, one non-residential building, and three cars. A snow swamp vehicle was additionally included in the confiscation order.
The court rejected a separate claim from Bondarenko's underage son, who had sought the return of one seized vehicle. No further details were provided on the legal reasoning behind the dismissal.
The decision enforces the immediate transfer of all listed assets to state control. Bondarenko's case follows broader efforts to recover undeclared wealth from officials. No appeals or further legal challenges have been reported so far.
