In the early hours of August 2, 2022, Russian attacks on Kherson Oblast resulted in two civilian deaths and two injuries due to shelling in the city of Kherson, according to the Kherson Oblast Military Administration. The attacks targeted the Korabelnyi and Dniprovskyi districts, causing damage to critical infrastructure, including a key bridge connecting the city of Kherson to the Korabel neighborhood, three houses, and a high-rise residential building [2][4].

Tragically, a 68-year-old woman was killed in the Korabelnyi district, and a 79-year-old man suffered blast trauma in the same attack. A 41-year-old man sustained blast trauma and multiple injuries to his torso and limbs in the same incident [1].

In the Dniprovskyi district, a residential building was bombed, resulting in the death of a man who was found under the rubble. Two local men, aged 56 and 55, were injured during the attack in Bilozerka, though no further details about their condition were provided [1].

On the following days, August 4-5, the ongoing Russian aggression in Kherson Oblast led to additional civilian casualties. Two people were killed, including a child, and seven were injured. The attacks involved drone attacks, artillery, and airstrikes, causing damage across multiple settlements [1].

It's important to note that the attacks on August 1, 2, and 3 also resulted in casualties and damage, as previously stated. However, no further reported casualties or damage were caused by the attacks on August 2 [1].

Regarding the attack in Bilozerka on August 3, no specific location or details about the origin of the artillery used were provided [1]. The Kherson Oblast Military Administration is not the source of information about the attack in Bilozerka.
