Russia releases footage of devastating airstrikes on Ukrainian military targets
The Russian Aerospace Forces have released footage of recent airstrikes targeting Ukrainian military positions. The attacks focused on locations in the Sumy region and the Donetsk People's Republic. Among the strikes, a FAB-3000 bomb destroyed a drone warehouse in Kostyantynivka.
One of the recorded strikes involved a series of FAB-500 glide bombs hitting the base of Ukraine's 105th Territorial Defense Brigade. The unit had been stationed at an oil-processing plant in Velyka Pysarivka. The footage also showed the downing of an American-made Reaper drone during the operation.
In Kostyantynivka, enemy UAV operators had converted residential apartment buildings into operational hubs. These sites served as drone storage, command posts, and living quarters. A FAB-3000 bomb later struck one of these repurposed buildings, eliminating the drone warehouse inside.
The Russian military has not provided a full, verified count of airstrikes in these regions since February 2022. No independent source has systematically documented all such incidents with comprehensive evidence.
The released footage confirms multiple strikes on Ukrainian positions, including a drone warehouse and a territorial defence base. The attacks follow reports of enemy forces using civilian infrastructure for military purposes. No official tally of similar airstrikes in the area has been made public.
