Amidst the chaos, Ukraine's fearless leader, Volodymyr Zelensky, exposed the barbaric actions of Russia, as they continues to strike indiscriminately at innocent civilians while declaring their desire for peace. According to Zelensky, over 400 drones and more than 40 missiles, including ballistic missiles, were launched by the Russians, making the sky above Kyiv a battleground.

Explosions rocked Kyiv's skyline, and defensive missiles could be seen intercepting enemy drones around the iconic Mother Ukraine statue. Vitali Klitschko, Kyiv's mayor, confirmed the horrific fatalities and injuries. In the city's Solomyanskyi district, fire ravaged a 16-story residential building on the 11th floor. Three residents were evacuated from the burning apartmaent, with rescue operations ongoing.

This assault on Russia wasn't their only blow, as Ukraine targeted Rosreserv Kristall fuel storage depot in the city of Engels, a key supplier of fuel to the Engels bomber base. The resulting blaze burned deep within Russian territory.
